Interface TypingConfig

Automatic typing-indicator policy (BotConfig.typing, ctx.reply(text, { typing })).

Properties

enabled?: boolean

Show the indicator before text replies. Defaults to false globally, true when set per reply.

minMs?: string | number

Shortest time the indicator is shown before the text is sent: a duration ('800ms') or ms. Default 800.

maxMs?: string | number

Longest time the indicator is shown before the text is sent: a duration ('3s') or ms. Default 3000.

charsPerSecond?: number

Simulated typing speed used to size the wait between minMs and maxMs. Default 20.
